Richmond Promise is accepting applications for mentors for the 2020-2021 cohort. This mentoring program is designed for professionals to share knowledge, skills, best practices, and perspective to foster the personal and professional growth of our Scholars.
We take mentor/mentee matching seriously and match based on several factors and preferences including career, college attended, social demographics, and interests. It is important to note that the application and training are required, but do not guarantee placement in the program.
Applicants must have professional career experience. Experience with LinkedIn and virtual communication (email, text, video call) is preferred.
Time commitment is about one hour per month, and we are asking for at least a one-year commitment beginning July 2020. Richmond Promise will provide training to all qualified mentors.
